xTool mTiny Discover Kit Toy

The xTool mTiny Discover Kit is an interactive educational toy for preschoolers that combines play with learning the basics of math, logical thinking, and problem-solving. The robot can be controlled using a special controller and coding cards, allowing the child to understand the relationship between the commands given and mTiny’s behavior. Importantly, learning takes place without the need for a phone, tablet, or computer, so children can focus on the physical components of the kit and the tasks at hand.

Learning Through Touch and Experimentation

The “Tap to Code” system allows children to create sequences of commands by tapping the appropriate coding cards with the controller. In this way, the child can plan the robot’s route, observe the results of their decisions, and make adjustments if mTiny doesn’t reach the intended destination. This form of play helps develop cause-and-effect thinking, planning the next steps, and independently finding solutions.

Varied Tasks and Interactive Robot Responses

The mTiny toy can accompany children as they play with themed maps, books, game cards, and coding cards, adding variety to their activities. The robot offers 10 pre-programmed emotions and over 300 sound effects, allowing it to react to the child’s actions and make play more interactive. The set supports the development of social-emotional, musical, and mathematical competencies, as well as problem-solving skills, by combining various areas of learning into a single play experience.

Exploring Math, Shapes, and Colors

Playing with mTiny can help preschoolers learn numbers, directions, shapes, colors, and basic spatial relationships. The robot moves along pre-set paths and performs actions programmed by the child, allowing children to explore these concepts in a hands-on, engaging way. The Discover Kit version also includes colorful markers that expand play possibilities to include activities related to drawing, colors, and geometric shapes.

A Design Suited for Everyday Play

The mTiny robot is made of ABS plastic, and its design has no sharp edges, which is appropriate for a toy intended for younger users. The distinctive panda appearance, animated eyes, and varied reactions are designed to encourage children to interact with the robot and continue experimenting. The xTool mTiny Discover Kit is perfect for independent play, learning with a parent, and activities with siblings or peers.
