SONOFF S61S Matter Outdoor Plug via Wi-Fi

The SONOFF S61S is a smart outdoor plug that supports the Matter standard, allowing you to conveniently control connected devices from anywhere. With 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity, a maximum power rating of 3840 W, and compatibility with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, Home Assistant, and the eWeLink app, it makes it easy to automate everyday tasks. The device not only remotely turns equipment on and off but also monitors energy consumption and operating costs, helping you better control your household expenses.

Remote Control and Smart Scenarios

The S61S lets you create automations tailored to your daily needs. You can set operation schedules, countdowns to automatic shutdown, periodic on/off cycles for devices, and scenarios triggered by specific events. The plug is ideal for controlling Christmas lights, fans, humidifiers, and air purifiers, among other things, making everyday use more convenient.

Full Control Over Energy Consumption

The device monitors the operating parameters of connected devices, displaying information on voltage, current, power, operating time, energy consumption, and estimated electricity costs. The data is available in the app, allowing you to analyze power consumption in real time and make informed decisions about saving energy.

Equipment protection and convenient operation

The plug is equipped with an overload protection feature that allows you to set maximum power and current limits. Additionally, it offers overcharge protection for devices with rechargeable batteries—when it detects that power consumption has fallen below a set level for a specified period, it automatically cuts off the power supply, helping to reduce battery drain and extend its lifespan. The S61S also works with popular voice assistants, allowing you to control connected devices without reaching for your phone.

Safety and Thoughtful Design

The plug offers protection against power surges and lightning strikes, an overload protection system, and a housing made of flame-retardant PC plastic. The relay is rated for 40,000 switching cycles, and the child safety lock provides additional protection. The compact design does not block adjacent outlets, and night mode allows you to turn off the indicator backlight during selected hours.

It also works on a local network

The plug supports local LAN control via the eWeLink app. This means the device can be controlled over the local network even when the router’s connection to the server is unavailable, which enhances operational reliability.
