LONGER RAY5 minis 5.5W Laser Engraver (RAY5 minis 5.5W)

Longer Ray5 miniS laser engraver (5.5 W)

Do you create small items, markings, decorations, or your first handmade products at home? The Longer Ray5 miniS laser engraver allows you to engrave materials without direct exposure to the laser beam. The 5.5 W device is pre-assembled and ready to use right out of the box, so instead of wasting time on assembly, you can start your project right away. The 130 × 140 mm working area and speed of up to 12,000 mm/min allow you to work comfortably on your desk, workbench, or in a small studio.

Details that look like they came from a professional workshop

A 0.04 × 0.04 mm laser spot and 0.04 mm engraving accuracy allow you to reproduce fine lines, small letters, and subtle patterns without blurring the edges. Thanks to the 2 mm spacer block, focusing is mechanical and repeatable – you lower the module to contact the block and you can be sure of the correct focus. In practice, this means a clean engraving contour on wood, leather, or acrylic without trial and error for each material. Even small jewelry items, key chains, or nameplates retain the sharpness of detail that is often lost with weaker lasers. This precision allows you to sell or give away the finished product without corrections.

Projects you can finish in one session

A speed of up to 12,000 mm/min combined with a 130 × 140 mm field allows you to complete most small DIY projects in a short time. You can engrave a series of key rings, coasters, or product labels in a single work session instead of spreading the work over several days. This scale is well suited to handmade creators and micro-sellers who operate in small quantities. The compact work area also promotes optimal use of material. With the Longer Ray5 miniS, the creation process remains fast and predictable.

Personalization on hundreds of materials – from idea to product

The 5.5 W 450 nm diode laser allows you to engrave over 300 materials and, depending on their thickness, also cut them, from wood and leather to acrylic, metal, and ceramics. You can mark products, create decorations, personalize gifts, or prepare elements for further assembly. The Longer Ray5 miniS is suitable for a variety of applications, so you don't have to invest in multiple tools for different materials. This is especially important when you are creating at home and your workspace is limited.

Freedom of engraving

USB and Wi-Fi connectivity and support for mobile apps and LaserGRBL or LightBurn software on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS allow you to prepare your project on your computer or directly on your smartphone. Once the file is uploaded, the device can work offline, so you don't need to maintain a constant connection or occupy your computer while engraving. You can prepare your project at your desk and start the job later in your workshop or another room. Stable data transmission minimizes the risk of interrupting the task in progress.

Stress-free work

The enclosure with a cover, door sensor, axis limit switches, and emergency stop button form a safety system characteristic of Class I devices. If the cover is opened, the work is interrupted and the mechanics stop in a controlled manner. An exhaust fan removes fumes from the working chamber, improving comfort when working in a closed room. This design allows you to engrave at home or in a small studio without direct exposure to the beam or moving parts.

Quick start to creation

The aluminum alloy body, weighing 2.89 kg and measuring 307 × 320 × 197 mm, makes the device easy to place on a desk or move between workstations. Pre-assembly means that once you connect the power supply and data cable, you can get started on your first project right away. The kit includes safety glasses, a focus block, tools, and accessories needed to get started, so you don't have to buy equipment separately. This is especially convenient when you're just starting out with lasers.
