MOES ZTRV-PJ-601-MS Smart Thermostatic Head

The comfort of a warm home can go hand in hand with convenient operation, energy-efficient performance, and a modern design. The MOES ZTRV-PJ-601-MS smart thermostatic head is designed to simplify daily temperature control while seamlessly blending into various interior designs. It features a clear LED display, convenient adjustment via a rotary knob, weekly scheduling, and remote control via the Tuya Smart app. Additionally, it works with voice assistants, ensures safe operation, and utilizes energy-efficient ZigBee technology, allowing it to run on batteries for extended periods.

Wide compatibility and refined design

The MOES ZTRV-PJ-601-MS model stands out for its wide compatibility, allowing it to be used with many popular valves. The kit includes adapters for Danfoss RA, Danfoss RAV, Danfoss RAVL, Caleffi, Giacomini, and M28 valves, which significantly expands installation options in various heating systems. The device’s design is also noteworthy—its compact size, elegant finish, and subtly rounded shape give the head a modern look without disrupting the room’s aesthetics. It’s a solution that serves a practical function while also blending seamlessly with any interior design.

Convenient everyday use

Daily operation of the thermostat has been simplified as much as possible. Temperature adjustment is done using a rotary knob, allowing you to quickly and intuitively adjust settings to your current needs. The device is also equipped with a Dot Matrix LED display that shows key information such as Wi-Fi connection, battery level, set temperature, heating mode, or automatic mode. An additional convenience is the screen rotation feature, which ensures the display remains easy to read from various angles and does not require a single, fixed mounting position. This practical solution makes daily use more convenient.

Smart features for greater comfort and safety

The MOES ZTRV-PJ-601-MS offers a range of features that help maintain optimal indoor conditions and enhance user convenience. The open-window detection feature automatically responds to a sudden drop in temperature—the message “OP” appears on the screen, and the temperature is set to 12 degrees Celsius. The child lock, on the other hand, prevents accidental changes to the settings (it is activated by holding down the center button for 3 seconds until “LC” appears on the screen). The device is equipped with an anti-scale function, which involves routine automatic descaling of the valve. During this process, the message “CR” appears on the screen.

App control, schedules, and voice control

The device’s modern character is highlighted by its smart control capabilities. The thermostat works with the Tuya Smart app, allowing you to conveniently manage temperature and settings from your smartphone. A Tuya ZigBee hub is required for the smart features to work, and it is sold separately. Once installed, you can also use voice control (Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa). You also have access to a weekly schedule with 4 time periods, which makes it easy to adjust the heating to your daily routine. The thermostat supports automatic, manual, and on/off modes, offering great flexibility in everyday use.

Durability, energy efficiency, and solid construction

Powered by three 1.5V AA alkaline batteries, it promotes lower energy consumption, and the batteries themselves (thanks to smooth and gradual power delivery) support a longer controller lifespan. Three batteries, sold separately, are required for operation. Furthermore, unlike many plastic designs prone to cracking, this model offers a more robust, better-finished housing and high torque reaching up to 8 Newton-meters. It is a device that combines aesthetics, durability, and functionality in a form ready for daily, intensive use.
