FOSSIBOT SP420 420W Solar Panel (Black) (SP420)

FOSSIBOT SP420 420W Solar Panel (Black)

The FOSSIBOT SP420 420W is a foldable solar panel designed to power energy stations while traveling, camping, working in the field, and for emergency use. The model uses monocrystalline cells with a conversion efficiency of up to 23.4%, allowing for efficient solar energy harvesting and faster charging of compatible devices. With 420 W of power, the panel works well with both smaller power stations and more extensive energy storage systems. The foldable design facilitates transport and storage, while IP67 rating and a laminated ETFE coating enhance durability during outdoor use. The standard MC4 connector and power cable ensure broad compatibility with devices from various manufacturers.

High energy conversion efficiency

The panel uses modern monocrystalline cells that allow for more efficient conversion of solar energy into electricity. A conversion efficiency of up to 23.4% enables more efficient charging of power stations compared to many standard portable panels. This allows the user to recharge the power needed to run camping gear, electronics, or emergency devices more quickly. Operating parameters, including a maximum power voltage of 32 V and a current of 13.1 A, enable effective integration with higher-capacity energy storage systems. The panel can also be combined with other SP420 modules to expand the capabilities of the entire solar kit.

Foldable design convenient for travel

The FOSSIBOT SP420 was designed with easy transport and mobile use in mind. When folded, the panel takes up significantly less space, making it easy to transport in a car or RV, or store in a garage. The built-in handle makes it easy to carry, and the foldable design means setting up the panel takes just a moment. When unfolded, the user gets a large working surface for efficient solar energy collection. This solution works well during off-grid trips, camping trips, and longer stays without access to the power grid.

Adjustable legs and quick setup

The SP420 model is equipped with four adjustable legs that allow for stable placement of the panel on various surfaces. Tilt angle adjustment allows you to better align the panel’s position with the sun’s current angle, which can improve charging efficiency. Setting up the entire kit is quick and requires no additional tools, so the panel can be conveniently prepared for use virtually anywhere. The design is intended for daily use in the field, where both convenience and the ability to act quickly are essential. The manufacturer states that using four SP420 panels can significantly reduce the charging time of compatible power stations; however, actual runtime depends on weather conditions, sunlight intensity, and the angle at which the panels are positioned.

Durable construction and IP67 rating

The panel is protected by a multi-layer ETFE coating, which improves light transmission while increasing the surface’s resistance to daily use. The laminated construction helps reduce the risk of scratches and the impact of UV radiation on the panel’s lifespan. The IP67 rating ensures resistance to dust and splashes, making the equipment better suited for outdoor use. However, please note that the panel should not be submerged in water or left out during heavy rain. An additional convenience is a zippered pocket, which allows for convenient storage of cables and protects connectors during transport.

Universal compatibility and wide range of applications

The FOSSIBOT SP420 uses a standard MC4 connector, allowing it to work with many power stations available on the market. The panel is ideal for use while traveling in a camper, at a summer cottage, camping, or while working in the field, where access to the conventional power grid is limited. Its foldable design and quick setup allow you to conveniently use solar energy virtually anywhere. This is the solution for those seeking a mobile power source with high power output and broad compatibility.
