XTool mBot2 Rover Robot Kit (P1010144)

xTool mBot2 Rover Robotics Kit

The xTool mBot2 Rover Robotics Kit combines hands-on building, programming, and robot control, allowing users to learn the basics of robotics in a practical way. The robot can take on various forms, navigate diverse terrain, climb slopes with an incline of up to 40°, and perform programmed tasks. The robot supports block-based programming and the Python language, and the free mBlock software allows you to gradually progress from simple projects to more advanced coding. Bluetooth control, voice command support, AI features, and the ability to customize the robot’s behavior further expand the possibilities for learning and play.

Build, Rebuild, and Experiment

The modular design allows you to create different robot configurations and adapt its capabilities to suit your project. Among other things, the kit lets you build robotic arms designed to grasp, lift, lower, and move small objects, which helps you better understand how the mechanisms work. Components made of aluminum alloy increase the structure’s durability, and the ability to combine the set with additional electronic components and compatible blocks provides even more room for your own experiments.

A Robot Ready for Various Challenges

The mBot2 Rover is designed not only to travel on smooth floors—its design can also handle grass, gravel, and other uneven surfaces. The robot can be controlled in several ways, including via a Bluetooth controller or a mobile device, so users can tailor the control method to a specific task. The ability to create custom expressions, reactions, and behaviors means the robot isn’t limited to simply following commands—it can serve as the foundation for many interactive projects.

From the First Code Blocks to Python

The free mBlock platform allows users to start learning with easy-to-understand block-based programming and then transition to working with Python, so the kit can grow with the user as their skills develop. The software is available on popular platforms, including Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chromebook, making it easy to use the robot both at home and in educational settings. Ready-made projects, educational materials, and coding tasks help students explore programming, logical thinking, and the basics of engineering by building, testing, and refining their own ideas.
