Sonoff Basic R5 Gen5 WiFi Smart Switch (10A, Matter) (BASIC-1GS)

Sonoff Basic R5 Gen5 WiFi Smart Switch (10 A, Matter)

The Sonoff Basic R5 Gen5 is a compact Wi-Fi smart switch that allows you to conveniently control your devices with apps or voice commands, as well as create smart scenes and schedules. It is compatible with the Matter standard, so it works seamlessly with Google Home, Apple Home, Samsung SmartThings, Home Assistant and Amazon Alexa ecosystems. Its small size (80.5 × 41.5 × 23.6 mm) and simple installation make it easy to place anywhere. It's the perfect choice if you want to quickly automate a light, aquarium pump or other device in your home!

Convenient control and quick setup

Installing and configuring the switch is as easy as possible - just add it to the eWeLink app after scanning the QR code. What's more, thanks to Matter compatibility, you can connect the device to the smart home ecosystem of your choice - Google Home, Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, Home Assistant or Samsung SmartThings - and use its functions from your favorite platform. Control is possible via the app, a physical button, as well as by voice, using Siri, Alexa or Google Assistant. No longer do you have to move every time to turn off a light or run a fan!

Full automation and schedules

Basic R5 Gen5 supports scenes and schedules, allowing you to automate your daily activities. For example, you can set the lights to turn on at sunset, turn off the heater after an hour, or activate the fan when the temperature exceeds a certain threshold. Create a smart home that's simply good to live in!

Local control and offline operation

With LAN support, you can control the device on your home network even in the absence of internet, and the near-field mode allows you to control within a radius of up to 10 meters without Wi-Fi and without connection to the cloud. This guarantees reliability and continuity of operation, which will come in handy in scenarios such as controlling outdoor lighting or an irrigation system, for example.

Group control

With Group Control, you can combine several switches into one group and control them simultaneously - both in the app and by voice. This is ideal for controlling all the lighting in a room with a single button or for synchronized switching of several devices at the same time, for example, lamps and a fan.

Cooperation with a classic switch

The device allows you to connect a standard physical switch, so you retain the ability to manually control the light or other devices. This is ideal when the product is also used by household members who prefer traditional operation.

Safety and durability

The Sonoff Basic R5 Gen5 is equipped with a relay with a lifetime of more than 40,000 cycles, and its housing is made of fire-resistant V0 plastic that can withstand temperatures up to 850°C. Surge protection protects the device from voltage spikes of up to 1 kV, ensuring stable operation and the safety of the entire installation. The product also has a physical push button for convenient manual operation.

Wide application

The switch will be great for controlling lights, fans, heaters, humidifiers, aquarium pumps, solenoid valves or lighting for plants. It's a simple way to bring automation to your home, apartment or office!
